Using the dashboard is easy. Everything you see beneath the dashboard is pretty much self explanatory. To post something you go under the tab on the left posts and add new and a way you go. Same for everything else you see such as media, links and comments etc.
I used the media in the dashboard to add my video, picture and .swf. Basically you upload the media and then copy the URL after it uploads. After you have the file uploaded go to media and add new, go to the film strip icon and enter in appropriate information and the URL.
